Practical Expertise. Responsibility for Your Success.
Incorrectly selected EMS partners, unstable supply chains, and a lack of operational support are among the most common reasons why manufacturing transfers fail or existing production structures come under pressure.
EMS Strategy Group addresses these challenges with nearly four decades of operational responsibility in the European electronics manufacturing industry. As former EMS founders and managing directors, we have managed manufacturing operations, established production lines, and stabilized supply chains during times of crisis. We understand the challenges of modern manufacturing systems not from textbooks, but from direct entrepreneurial experience.
Whether transferring manufacturing programs to qualified EMS partners, changing existing manufacturing structures, strengthening supply chain resilience, or establishing and expanding production capabilities – we support OEMs from the initial analysis through stable serial production and beyond. Exclusively in the interest of the OEM. Without promoting our own manufacturing capacity.
I have been active in electronics manufacturing since 1986 – from establishing production lines, leading teams, and developing quality processes to founding and managing my own EMS company in Germany.
At EMS Strategy Group, I am responsible for the strategic direction and operational support of outsourced electronics manufacturing across Europe.
My focus areas include EMS partner selection, supply chain resilience, and the reliable transition into serial production. Extensive international experience – including several years of operational responsibility in Brazil – shapes my practical approach to complex manufacturing transfers and sourcing projects.
My focus is not on short-term cost reductions, but on building stable and resilient manufacturing structures. Manufacturing costs are only one factor – robust processes, clearly defined interfaces, and professional obsolescence management are what create long-term value.
EMS Strategy Group provides access to specialists with different areas of expertise who are involved according to the specific requirements of each project. Whether transferring manufacturing programs to EMS partners, establishing new manufacturing facilities, or expanding existing production capacity, our clients have access to the required expertise throughout every phase of the project.
Our expertise covers strategic manufacturing and site planning, EMS partner selection and qualification, resilient supply chain development, project and transfer management, industrialization, quality management, and production ramp-up.
Depending on the project requirements, specialists also support implementation directly at the manufacturing location. They coordinate collaboration between the OEM, manufacturing partners, and suppliers, facilitate knowledge transfer, and help ensure a structured transition into stable serial production.
Our goal is not just to develop concepts, but to guide projects through successful implementation and long-term manufacturing stability.
